Benchmarking System
Benchmarking is an extremely valuable process for any business. A benchmark is a standard of performance. As a management improvement strategy, benchmarking helps organizations identify standards of performance in other organizations or parts of their business and to import them successfully to their own or other parts. It allows organizations or subsidiaries to discover where they stand in relation to others. By identifying, understanding, and comparing the best practices and processes of other organizations with its own, an organization can target problem areas and develop solutions to achieve best levels of performance. A public-sector organization can borrow the best practices of the private sector, and vice versa.
bite´s TeamShare management system benchmarking module allows organisations to collect and compare Key Performance Indicators (KPI´s) from either multiple businesses within a sector or from subsidiaries, offices, sites within a business. Data is easily collected either by individuals being reminded by email to enter KPI´s manually on a regular basis or by web services that pull data from existing systems (tills, accounts packages etc). KPI´s can then be compared in easy to understand tables and graphs by local and/or central management. Information can also be made anonymous. |
