Brief:
Find a better way for sales reps to display the huge range of product (blind fabric ´swatches´) currently held within 5 large ring binder files
Strategy:
Use interactive multimedia to not only reduce the size and ease of transportation of their marketing resource but also to add another dimension to their current levels of communication. An interactive sales tool would be the answer to Louvolite´s needs
Solution:
A team headed by Bite Digital MD Jason Cozens designed and built an interactive multimedia application that was distributed on CD-ROM. Used by Louvolite´s sales staff, the application allows their products (thousands of different blind fabrics) to be viewed in context.
The user can select a room, window and curtain type and choose the colour of walls, furniture and curtains. This allows the blind fabrics to then be chosen and viewed as part of a room layout and not just as an out of context piece of fabric. A swatch of the fabric is still viewable and the chosen configuration of room layout and chosen fabric can be saved to disk.
Innovative programming of the application allowed Visuality to fit the whole product range and its corresponding graphical assets used in the presentation to fit on to a single CD-ROM.
