Background

HotPrice.co.uk is an online fireplace warehouse where you can buy the latest top products at the lowest possible rices. Its promise is that by buying direct you can enjoy massive savings on typical high street prices and have goods delivered quickly and safely to your door. The HotPrice.co.uk team has over 30 years of experience in all
aspects of the fireplace industry including Sales, Manufacturing and Installation.

Aim

Extend the reach of the Hotprice business to the whole of the UK 24/7 with a website that allows the company to benefit from increased efficiency and sales. However, an all singing all dancing website is no use unless people looking for a fireplace know it exists. So Hotprice needed to have the website appear at the top of Google every
time people searched for relevant key phrases.

What we did

Bite Digital developed an eCommerce site for HotPrice.co.uk, with an advanced content management system
(CMS) that allows non technical staff to regularly update the site with new offers and products. It has an order management module to help deal with the high number of orders that the site gets every day.

Bite Digital has also designed, implemented and continues to manage a highly successful online marketing strategy for HotPrice which includes both Paid and Natural search engine marketing campaigns (Pay Per Click
or PPC and Search Engine Optimisation or SEO).



Results

The site gets thousands of visitors a day because it now appears at the top of Google when users search with key phrases like ‘gas fires’ and ‘fireplaces’ as well as specific phrases such as the names of specific fireplaces. The site also appears in the Google ‘shopping results’. A high percentage of the visitors also convert to sales because the site is easy to use. Online sales have reached £ millions in less than 2 years.
