Collecta aim to Change the Way we Search

Google is still the main player in terms of the search engines but new ones are popping up all the time like the recently launched Bing.  We are also seeing the rise of more innovative search engines like Collecta. 

Collecta has been devised to search in a different way - it searches what’s actually happening right now.  For instance, when you enter a search term it goes through social media content like Twitter, recent blog posts, news articles and even Flickr photos.  It then list the results for the items found - many of which will have just appeared on the web for the first time.
